The Challenge
In 2019, Nobull partnered with Pet Food UK (mother brand for Barking Heads & Meowing Heads). In a competitive and online dominant world, they were wanting a way to stand out amongst the crowd, to increase their social media presence and engagements through brand storytelling, and to increase brand awareness through media coverage.
The Solution
We proposed an overall communications strategy for Pet Food UK, focusing on our key deliverables, such as: ideation and brand storytelling, running the press office and delivering media coverage, managing brand ambassadors and all influencer relations, managing charity relationships, appointment and management of This Morning's Dr Scott Miller, community management on all channels, creation of all organic social content and visuals and a comms strategy for new product launches. In 2020, Barking Heads partnered with DOTs, a charity dedicated to the welfare of dogs belonging to the UK’s homeless community. We managed all influencer relations with dog-loving celebrity Pete Wicks, who swapped his comfy bed, along with some of the Barking Heads team, for a night on the streets of London in aid of charity, to help raise awareness and understanding about the hardships faced by the many homeless men and women sleeping rough with their dogs.
The Results
With a social comms strategy in place, along with the creation of content, influencer relations and charity partnerships, organic social results for Barking Heads had a huge increase.
