The Challenge

Pooch & Hound was born during covid 19 when a designer was unable to find anything in the market for their canine companions with original designs and a high-end look and feel. Collaborating with a talented print designer, who spends hours hand painting the signature prints for Pooch & Hound, they set out to design a Pet Collection so good, you would wear it yourself.

Nobull was approached to help build brand awareness in the UK marketplace and grow the social channels, whilst helping to persuade new retailers via ambassador and influencer relations.

The Solution

This three-month influencer project began with us launching a boosted Brand Ambassador search on Instagram to reach specific target audiences and demographics for the best entries possible.

We brought five ‘full time’ micro brand ambassadors on board who produced creative content each month in their authentic style and showcased multiple products from a bundle provided. Each ambassador had their own personal guide, outlining what products they were receiving, what we wanted from them each month, and their discount code for their followers across the project.

We also recruited five different monthly influencers from across Instagram and TikTok who were given a one-use discount code, valid for an agreed period of time. They showcased one Pooch & Hound product chosen by us, in line with monthly marketing themes and sales.

The Results

Across the three-month project, Pooch & Hound’s Instagram increased organic followers by over 350%. Through consistent ambassador and influencer reels, static posts and stories, organic impressions were up by 78% to over 36,000, and organic engagements were up 495%.

Through influencer and ambassador posts alone, there was a total reach of nearly quarter of a million, 14,000 total engagements and over 15,000 video views, boosting brand awareness.

Nobull won the Podium Pets Products account in October 2021 and we worked with this UK-based, primarily wholesale-based, brand to rebuild and scale a paid media strategy that had been delivering poor engagement across two brands, and to promote its portfolio of pet-focussed products via social, influencer and media relations.
