Nobull’s newly refurbished service menu offers clients a comprehensive range of services, including production projects, of which include client filming days.
Having managed many of these projects over the years, we’ve comprised a handy list of tips should you be taking on a project of your own, and need a little helping hand.
The key to a successful video shoot is flexibility. It doesn’t matter how much scripting or planning you put in place, if something changes you need to be able to adapt. Be it the weather, last-minute changes to the script, or your location being busier than expected, being able to ‘think on your feet’ is a valuable asset.
A great example of this is when our typically British weather takes a dramatic turn. The camera crew and presenter are ready to begin, but Mother Nature might have other plans. Taking a look at your surroundings and thinking about how you might be able to incorporate some shelter into the shoot without compromising its quality is a good step. In fact, sometimes this can yield even better results by taking presenters closer to the action.
Having a solid plan for a video shoot is essential, but being able to work a developing scenario to your advantage will mean you’re ready for anything.
